Living Room Refresh
While we love all the pieces in K’s living room it just wasn’t functioning and flowing right.
It simply never seemed complete. We moved around the furniture, decluttered the space a bit, & walla!
It really feels like a new space.
Here is what we did…
We decided to move around the chairs to make a more intimate sitting area.
Decluttered the fireplace mantle to give it a fresh clean look.
A sorta new addition to the room was this Drexel campaign lingerie dresser that’s been sitting in the basement for months
(so it doesn’t really count as a new piece) plus it was a steal for only $30 from Craigslist!
K painted it an electric blue (she’s been obsessed with the color ever since we custom made a piece in that color for a client.)
It makes a great entry way piece it surprisingly fits a lot! Which is always great especially when you have little ones.
Her beloved cart was finally brought back into her space.
We simply moved her card catalog to the front of the room and
we borrowed the mid century library chair from her dinning room to put next to it.
The vintage pink lamp was a new addition to the space, we purchased two of these from an online estate auction (EBTH).
We added a plant to add warmth and life into the space (IKEA $20)
We are so please with how the space turned out.
We love how it flows and it feels *almost complete.
We would love to refresh your space!
